Stallions of Hillbro Stud
Our Stallion Chaparral was purchased in 1996 when 6 months old from Jeanette and Peter Gower, Chalani Stud. Other than for training and showing Chaparral has been at Hillbro ever since. He is the most delightful fellow to know and handle.
Lightly shown as a one two and three year old, winning or placing in all events and third in Royal Adelaide Show breeds class as a three year old.
Chaparral was trained by Neville Fennell and proved to be very athletic and forward moving under saddle, executing sliding stops and roll backs with ease. Good solid movement and very comfortable canter. As a general hack and riding horse Chapparal proved to be forward moving, eager to walk out and calm under saddle.
